About Me
Hey! I’m Jacqueline K. Lihn, but friends and family call me Jacqui. I am a multidisciplinary designer based in Bucks County, PA.
I am a graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts in Communication Design. I had the opportunity to learn from the university’s well known KUCD program, gaining many skills during my time there.
I am proficient in multiple aspects of design. Some of my more favored concentrations are illustration, package design, and UX/UI design. Given my education and experience, I am familiar with a variety of Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects. Outside of the Adobe Creative Suite, I am also skilled with Procreate and Figma.
I’ve always had a love for the visual arts. I created artwork since the moment I could pick up a pencil. My work and style have always leaned illustrative, and I have a longtime interest in character art. My interest in communication design started in high school, where I took graphic design courses. Since then, a passion sparked, and I worked to learn the medium and improve my work. I would seek out knowledge and experience from my mentor. And, I would start off my journey designing t-shirts and logos for school organizations.
Aside from design, I have other passions as well. One primarily being the performing arts. During my time in university, I participated in the Kutztown University Marching Unit for 5 years. By the time I graduated, I had been involved in the marching arts for 9 years, including high school. Throughout these years I not only marched flute, but I took the initiative to learn front ensemble, march in battery percussion, and perform in color guard during the winter seasons. I also have marched drum corps following graduation.
I look forward to continuing my designing career, and taking on many opportunities in the future.
